Serengeti-Park Hodenhagen with kids

At Serengeti-Park, families drive through spacious enclosures in their own car or a safari bus, past lions, giraffes, rhinos, zebras, elephants, and many other savanna animals. The Jungle Safari passes monkeys, tigers, and reptiles, partly by boat. The adventure park has dozens of rides: roller coasters, water rides, themed rides, and a children's area with gentler attractions for toddlers and preschoolers. Animal shows, feedings, and seasonal events like a lights festival round out the program.

For families with children aged roughly three to twelve, the choice is especially broad. Those who like can stay overnight in the park's own safari lodge or glamping area and experience the animals in the evening and morning too. Plan for at least a full day, better two, if you want to explore both the safari and the amusement park thoroughly.

Your own car is required for the safari, roof closed. Tickets are usually cheaper online, and annual passes quickly pay off for families. Early visiting times are more pleasant on hot days.
