Ponyhof Niendorf with kids

At Ponyhof Niendorf, children can take guided pony rounds on natural paths right in the middle of the Niendorfer Gehege. A small and a large round are offered, differing in length and price. The ponies are used to the operation and suitable for beginners; no reservation is needed, though for groups a short call ahead is worthwhile.

The special charm: riding doesn't happen in a hall but right out in the green, among trees. Parents benefit too, as they can walk through the woods alongside the pony. Ten-ride cards make regular visits easier.

The location in this recreational area allows combining the visit with a walk through the Gehege, a break at the Waldcafe Corell, or a detour to the nearby wildlife enclosure. The farm is open Wednesday to Sunday with set hours, depending on season and Hamburg school holidays. Access by car or metro bus.
