Plakatwerkstatt with kids

At the Plakatwerkstatt, children from age nine can create their own posters, cards and printed objects on historic printing presses and typesetting cases with lead type, build folders, boxes or pencil cases, and decorate with handmade colored paper. Experienced instructors guide the open workshop; no prior knowledge is needed.

Besides girls' days, there are open sessions and so-called generation Sundays, where children work on a project together with parents or grandparents. At lunchtime, a large table invites everyone to eat together; everyone brings something for the buffet. The atmosphere is focused yet homely.
