Good to know

At Museum Lüneburg on Willy-Brandt-Straße, families discover the region's history from its beginnings to today — natural history, cultural history, and archaeology under one roof. Admission is free for children and teenagers under 18; adults pay 10 euros (reduced 6 euros). Young explorers will find a medieval-themed play corner, a free museum quiz for ages 8 and up, and interactive gable tables for all ages. On the fourth Sunday of every month there are Sunday activities for children aged 6 to 12 with a short guided tour and a craft activity, plus holiday programs and children's birthday parties from age 6. The museum is stroller-friendly and accessible, with a changing table and a nursing room. Closed Mondays (except public holidays).
