MINTforum Hamburg is a registered nonprofit association with its office at Trostbrücke 4 in Hamburg's old town. It describes itself as an alliance of more than 100 initiatives, projects and out-of-school learning venues from daycare centers, schools, universities, authorities, companies and foundations across the Hamburg metropolitan region. The programs target children and young people from daycare age through secondary school and on to choosing a course of study or career. Its own formats include the annual Hamburg MINT Day with a school competition and a hands-on activity for preschoolers (2026 on November 19, with a MINT Action Week from November 16 to 22), activities for Code Week in October, and an appearance at the Hamburg DOM funfair. In the calendar on mintforum.de, the network collects workshops, holiday programs and family activities run by its partners, such as holiday programs at Gut Karlshöhe (ages 6 to 10), Medien-Kids at the Bücherhallen public libraries (ages 4+), or family workshops at Höhle der Wunder (ages 8+).
