Good to know
The Miniatur Wunderland in the Speicherstadt (Kehrwieder 2, Block D) shows model worlds such as Hamburg, Knuffingen, Scandinavia, Italy, Venice, Rio de Janeiro and Patagonia. At Knuffingen Airport, model planes take off and land across 150 square meters. In open workshops, families can watch the model builders at work.
Adults aged 16 and over pay 22 euros, children up to 15 pay 13 euros, and children under one meter tall are free when accompanied by parents or grandparents. The bistro has a play corner, a nursing corner and a children's toilet with changing facilities; kids' pasta costs 4.50 euros. A changing room with diapers and a microwave for baby food is available.
It is open 365 days a year, and the hours are listed in the opening hours calendar on the website. On weekends, public holidays and during school holidays there are regular waiting times, so it is worth booking timed-entry tickets online in advance. Drinks and play tables are provided in the waiting area.
