Good to know
Older children and teenagers interested in music, literature or fine art find chamber concerts, contemporary art exhibitions with openings, and literary evenings here, such as the regular Jour fixe of the German Writers' Association. At openings, curators are on hand for questions.
The Kunstklinik works closely with artists from Hamburg, and many evenings have the character of intimate encounters between audience and performers. The concept of a voluntary support fee, split equally between the performers and the venue, makes it possible for families without a large culture budget to drop by regularly too.
The venue is housed in the former clinic building in Eppendorf, whose old architecture shapes the atmosphere. After the event, the evening can continue in the surrounding cafés and restaurants.
