Good to know
Families mainly find theater performances by independent groups for different age levels here, especially on weekends, plus courses and workshops where children and teenagers try out creative techniques. Hands-on formats like KochKultur, where neighbors meet once a month to cook together and exchange international recipes, are also part of the program.
The stage also hosts concerts, readings and cabaret evenings, often in cooperation with Hamburg ensembles. Alongside these are formats from cultural education, such as discussion events on democracy and youth work. The venue is aimed at people of all age groups in the neighborhood and beyond.
Eidelstedt is connected to Hamburg's center by S-Bahn, AKN and buses; the Kulturhaus is centrally located in the neighborhood and is also easy to reach from Schnelsen, Niendorf or Stellingen.
