Good to know
Children from birth to about six years old are cared for here by a multicultural team in creche and kindergarten groups. The extended team includes, alongside educators, a special education teacher, a physical and occupational therapist, and external speech therapists. This close integration with therapeutic services is especially interesting for families whose children need extra support.
Besides German, the team speaks Portuguese, English, Polish, Bulgarian, Turkish, Russian, Farsi, and Hindi/Urdu, among others. Parents who aren't yet confident in German can get information in their native language this way, including on registration, applications, and daycare vouchers. Attached to the daycare is a parent-child center with open meet-ups and courses for families with babies and toddlers, which can be used even without a daycare place.
The daycare is within walking distance of the Veddel S-Bahn station, two stops from the main train station. Inquiries about admission go directly to the management.
