Kita Steilshooper Allee with kids

Children from eight weeks to six years old have movement as a focus here: since 2015, the daycare has been officially certified as a movement daycare, with specially trained staff. Climbing, balancing, running, or quiet zones are available in spacious, bright rooms and on a creatively designed outdoor area. Regular forest outings and language support that runs throughout the day round things out.

The concept combines movement with environmental awareness and individual development. Attached is a parent-child center for families with small children not yet in regular care, offering meet-ups, counseling, and shared activities. Especially in Steilshoop, this is an important social anchor point.

Externally evaluated by ektimo (2021), ISTA (2017), and the Hamburg daycare inspection process (2022). Open Monday to Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays until 5 p.m.
