Children from eight weeks old until school entry are cared for here in four color-coded groups (red, green, blue, purple) with fixed primary caregivers. The spacious, green outdoor area with mature trees leaves plenty of room for free play and nature experiences, and an in-house kitchen cooks fresh, child-friendly meals.
The daycare is officially designated as a language daycare and receives additional staffing resources for it. This is a particular plus for children growing up multilingual. Pedagogically, the focus is on education, social interaction, movement, and creativity, organized within clear structures. Attached to the daycare is a parent-child center that supports families with small children without a daycare place through meet-ups, counseling, and affordable meals.
Open Monday to Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fridays until 5 p.m. The daycare is located on a quiet residential street in Wilhelmsburg.
