Kita Eddelbüttelstraße with kids

At Kita Eddelbuettelstrasse, children from 0 to 6 years old are cared for in two creche groups, two mixed-age groups, and two kindergarten groups - younger and older children learn from one another without the groups becoming too large. The building, over a hundred years old, with three floors, high ceilings, and many nooks, noticeably shapes everyday life and is a counter-model to the classic single-story daycare building.

One focus is on sustainability: the facility carries the KITA21 seal for education for sustainable development and takes part in the Klimafuchs project. The environment, resources, and conscious everyday habits are part of the pedagogical work, conveyed in an age-appropriate way. Inclusion is a fixed component, and there is also an early intervention service for children aged 0 to 3 as well as a parent-child center with play groups, counseling, and shared meals.

Meals are cooked on site, certified with the Fit-Kid seal. Open Mon-Thu 6 a.m.-6 p.m., Fri until 5 p.m.
