Good to know
At Kita Dahlemer Ring, children from eight weeks old until school entry are cared for across three areas: creche, two kindergarten groups, and a bridge year that specifically prepares children for the start of school. The team works with signs and pictograms, which makes everyday life easier for children with different language backgrounds and is also an interesting experience for everyone else. Inclusion is a fixed component - children with elevated support needs are welcome.
On site there is also an early intervention service (R.IFF 3) for children aged 0 to 3, as well as a parent-child center for families without a daycare place. The in-house kitchen carries the Fit-Kid seal of the German Nutrition Society. The single-story, barrier-free flat-roof building is located on a quiet side street, and the spacious outdoor area borders closely on an elementary school.
Awards: KITA21 seal for education for sustainable development, Hamburg Education Prize 2010, EKTIMO evaluation 2024.
