Kita Bengelsdorfstraße with kids

At Kita Bengelsdorfstrasse, children from eight weeks old until school entry can choose between quiet and active zones: a workshop, an art studio, a snoezel room for sensory experiences, a movement-and-building area, and a nature-close outdoor area with a low ropes course. The center is certified as a Bewegungskita Plus (movement daycare plus) and is located in the green Barmwisch estate.

The children helped plan the low ropes course as part of a participation project - for this project, the daycare was awarded the City of Hamburg's Paula-Karpinsky Prize, and the magazine Eltern Family reported on it. Participation is taken seriously here. Attached is a parent-child center with counseling, play groups, and affordable meals for families without a regular daycare place.

Open Mon-Thu 6 a.m.-6 p.m., Fri until 5 p.m. Externally evaluated by ektimo and ISTA. For families from Bramfeld, also a possible point of contact before their child's first regular daycare day.
