Good to know
At the Katholische Familienbildungsstaette Hamburg, known as Fabi, families come for birth preparation, PEKiP and baby massage groups, early musical education, parent-child groups, creative courses, and movement activities. There are also open meet-ups without a fixed course commitment, such as the free Fabi Familiencafe, where parents play and chat with their children and can get professional counseling if needed.
The offerings accompany families from pregnancy and baby time through the teenage years and are open to everyone, regardless of religious affiliation. The team works with experienced educators, midwives, and therapists, and dedicated meet-ups are aimed at single parents or families in particular life situations.
The building on Luebecker Strasse 101 is easily reached via the Luebecker Strasse or Lohmuehlenstrasse U-Bahn stations. Registrations run via the website or by phone; many courses start at the beginning of the spring and fall terms.
