Good to know

At I-Punkt Skateland, children from about six years old can skate on multiple levels with ramps, bowls, and street areas, or ride scooters, inline skates, or BMX bikes. Open skating usually starts in the late afternoon on weekdays during the school term, and much earlier during the holidays, with no registration required. Beginners can take courses covering first tricks and safety basics, alongside contests and sessions for the local scene. Boards and protective gear can be rented on site for anyone without their own equipment.

The hall is Germany's oldest skate hall and is run by an association. The atmosphere is rough and lively, with music from the speakers and plenty of interaction among the skaters. Helmets and pads are recommended for young children and are also available to rent.

Spaldingstraße is near the main train station, easily reached by S-Bahn and bus. I-Punkt is also a central meeting point for teenagers who want to pursue their sport regularly.
