Good to know
Haus 73 is a cultural venue at Schulterblatt 73 in the heart of Sternschanze. Spread across several floors is a varied program of concerts, theatre performances, readings, jam sessions, and film screenings. The spaces include the Salon for smaller events and the 190-square-meter Saal for up to 200 people.
Of particular interest for families is the nestkino cinema on the second floor: this small cinema is the successor to Schanzenkino 73 and shows films off the mainstream track in two cozy screening rooms — including family and children's films such as classics of children's cinema. A foyer for arriving and settling in is part of the experience.
The venue sits right in the Schanzenviertel and is easily reached by bus and train (S Sternschanze). The current film program is listed at nestkino.de, and the rest of the program on the venue's website.
