HanseRock — Hochseilgarten Hamburg with kids

At HanseRock, children from about six years old can climb at several heights, from beginner courses close to the ground to more demanding routes with rope bridges, wobbly walkways, nets, and zip lines. A thorough briefing is given before starting. The continuous belay system allows independent climbing without having to reclip a carabiner, which reduces the margin for error and makes for relaxed climbing. Harness, helmet, and equipment are provided.

The high-ropes course is located in the Wilhelmsburg Inselpark, just three S-Bahn stops from the main train station. The park around it has playgrounds, meadows, water features, and bike paths, so the visit can easily be extended into a longer day with a picnic. Kiosk options are available on site during the main season.

Access by S-Bahn to Wilhelmsburg or by car is straightforward. HanseRock is also suitable for birthday parties and school classes.
