Good to know
Families find regular flea and kids' flea markets here, such as the Bobbycar-und-Kidsklamotte-Markt, where children's clothing, toys, and ride-on cars can be picked up cheaply — fixed dates on the Hamburg calendar. There are also guest performances by small children's theater groups in the hall, children's events, and hands-on activities throughout the year. During the holidays there are workshops and holiday care with a creative focus.
The building is housed in an old school with a large courtyard used for events in summer. For adults there are theater and music evenings, dance classes, yoga, pilates, and the monthly Interkulturelles Frauenfrühstück. A varied program that involves children and adults alike.
Centrally located in Winterhude on the Goldbekkanal, easily reached via U-Bahn Sierichstraße or Borgweg. A walk along the canal or the Stadtpark is nearby, along with restaurants and cafes at Goldbekhof.
