FUNDUS THEATER with kids

Children from about six years old experience theater performances here in which they themselves are co-researchers, co-players, or guests. Instead of just watching, they work with artists on themes such as friendship, conflict, loneliness, or fairness. Performances are often hybrid forms combining classic theater, a research lab, and a festival with play stations, music, and decoration.

The programme grows out of questions the children themselves raise — workshops in daycares and schools are often the starting point, with results feeding into productions. This makes the house a destination for families seeking children's theater that takes children seriously, and for schools and daycares with solid cultural education work.
