Good to know

Friedrich-Ebert-Halle on Alter Postweg in Hamburg-Heimfeld opened in 1930 as the assembly hall of the Friedrich-Ebert-Gymnasium and has been one of northern Germany's major concert halls for almost 100 years. The listed hall offers around 1,100 seats and is known for its outstanding acoustics; even the Beatles once recorded here. The program ranges from classical music, rock, pop, and comedy to children's theater, with family musicals such as 'Tabaluga and Lilli' or 'Dinotastic Live!'. The stalls are wheelchair accessible, an accessible restroom is available, and the Heimfeld S-Bahn station is right next door. The hall is run by the municipal company GMH | Gebäudemanagement Hamburg GmbH.
