At Familienbildung Eppendorf, parents with babies and toddlers can join PEKiP groups, crawling groups, baby sign language, and parent-child courses for various age groups. Birth preparation and postnatal recovery are also part of the program. For older children, depending on the season, there's early musical education, creative offerings, or movement. Talks and series for parents round things out — on topics like parenting questions, sleep, boundaries, or media education.
The center is appealing for families because parents here aren't just course participants — they get to know other families too. Many courses end with a cup of coffee in the group room, and encounters often turn into longer friendships. It's one of twelve locations of the Protestant family education centers in Hamburg and southern Holstein.
