Good to know
Families come here for children's concerts, hands-on formats, and special events during the holidays — usually in cooperation with Hamburg-based artists. Alongside that runs the year-round programme of concerts across genres (rock, pop, world music, jazz), song evenings, cabaret, and readings.
The converted industrial hall, with its high roof truss and wooden beams, has a character of its own — big enough for well-known acts, intimate enough for smaller formats. Its close ties to the neighborhood make Fabrik a fixture for families from Altona and Ottensen. The dining area and outdoor space are used when the weather allows.
The location in Ottensen is well connected by S-Bahn and bus, though parking is limited. Plenty of cafes and restaurants surround Fabrik for a stroll before or after.
