Good to know

Ernst Barlach Haus is located right in the middle of Jenischpark in Othmarschen and shows sculptures, drawings, and prints by the Expressionist Ernst Barlach in changing exhibitions. For families, a visit is uncomplicated: children and teenagers up to age 18 get in for free, and adults can get an affordable family ticket. Every Sunday at noon, a free public tour leads through the house, and for daycare groups and school classes the museum arranges its own morning visits by appointment. It's open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 6pm, closed Mondays. Out front, the sprawling Jenischpark invites visitors to romp around and picnic — the Klein Flottbek S-Bahn station is just a ten-minute walk away.
