Kita Elbschloss an der Bille with kids

At the parent-child center of Kita Elbschloss an der Bille, families with babies and toddlers meet for movement, early musical education, relaxation activities, counseling, and open breakfast get-togethers. Courses such as babySignal, sign language for babies, are also part of the program and give parents and children an early shared way to communicate. The EKiZ is open to families without a regular daycare place.

The regular daycare operation is small: one creche group for children from eight weeks old is cared for in a familiar atmosphere. For families from Hamm, Rothenburgsort, and Hammerbrook, most activity centers around the parent-child center - a valuable contribution to neighborhood work in a district with few comparable offerings.

The EKiZ is open Monday to Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participation in most offerings is free, as it is funded by the City of Hamburg. Address: Osterbrookplatz 24.
