EKiZ Storchennest (DRK) with kids

At EKiZ Storchennest, families with children under three can join age-appropriate playgroups, movement activities, creative sessions, and open breakfasts. Baby massage starts from the sixth week, postnatal recovery around two months after birth. There are also swimming offerings for children aged zero to six — a not entirely common extra.

Most offerings are free, with meals available at moderate prices. The EKiZ is professionally accompanied by educators, supported by counseling from midwives and pediatric nurses. Especially for families who have just moved to the south of Hamburg, this is a good way to quickly find connection — and in a young neighborhood with many new-build apartments, a place where a sense of community first begins to form.

Storchennest is located on Weidengrasweg in Neugraben-Fischbek and is embedded in the wider DRK network in the Harburg district. Weekly schedules and course times are listed on the DRK website.
