Good to know
At EKiZ St. Pauli-Süd, parents with children aged zero to six can drop in spontaneously to play, sing, and chat. For parents on parental leave there are regular courses: baby massage, postnatal recovery, first aid for children, crawling groups, and themed talks. Many offerings are free, others for a small participation fee.
The team of trained educators is available for questions about development, nutrition, parenting, and family life in the urban neighborhood. Anyone without a daycare spot will find a low-threshold meeting point here with a fixed weekly rhythm and a steady team. Fathers and other caregivers are explicitly welcome.
The location on Hafenstraße right by the Elbe riverbank is well connected by S-Bahn and ferries. For families from St. Pauli, Altona, and Neustadt, an important point of contact in a densely populated neighborhood.
