At EKiZ Löwenzahn on Tegelsbarg, families with children aged zero to six can drop by without a voucher or proof of anything. The program includes shared breakfasts, play offerings, crawling and movement groups, creative afternoons, and themed mornings. There are also courses on nutrition, first aid for children, or development in the first year of life. All offerings are free.
The team of trained educators also offers individual counseling: questions about parenting, dealing with authorities, or finding a daycare or nursery spot are discussed confidentially and referred onward when needed. Parents from across the neighborhood use Löwenzahn as a steady meeting point in the first year of life and a regular spot for play mornings.
Tegelsbarg is located in the northeast of Hamburg, and the AWO rooms are well connected by bus and S-Bahn.
