The team regularly plans story-time hours, craft afternoons, gaming meetups and game nights for young builders and tinkerers. Media boxes for daycare and school groups round out the offer.
The location in the Barmbek Basch combines library, church and neighborhood center under one roof, making it a lively community hub with a cafe and shared spaces. Its location at the U3 stop Dehnhaide makes it easy to reach for families from Barmbek-Süd, Eilbek, Uhlenhorst and Hohenfelde.
Opening hours are very generous, usually between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. A large part runs as FlexiBib: cardholders aged 18 and up can use the rooms without staff present for homework, research or group work.
