A 2,200 sqm interactive permanent exhibition by the Deutsche Wildtier Stiftung with hands-on stations covering around 48,000 of Germany's animal species. Its own nature-film cinema (Nature Film Wednesday) and a learning workshop for school classes. Housed in the timber building roots at Baakenhafen.
