Good to know

In the heart of Wandsbek lies the Botanical Special Garden, a municipal garden on Walddörferstraße founded in 1926 that is freely accessible — admission costs nothing. Families can stroll daily from 7am until dusk through themed gardens, perennial beds, and the newly redesigned rose garden; on weekdays the greenhouse with tropical plants is also open. Free guided tours are available for kindergarten groups and school classes, along with children's holiday programs, talks, and environmental education events. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. A wheelchair-accessible, free restroom is available.
