Blocks Hofladen with kids

At Blocks Hofladen, families can buy vegetables and fruit from the farm's own and regional production, meet the farm animals, and get a direct sense of agricultural work. Seasonal activities such as harvest days, farm festivals and holiday offers make the farm a worthwhile outing, not just a shopping trip. Subscription boxes are packed weekly and either picked up at the farm or delivered.

For children, a visit is often a small adventure: they see where food grows and experience over the year how differently the seasons taste. For families who value regional, seasonal and sustainable food and want to show their kids where their food comes from, Blocks is a good address.

The farm is located on Pappelweg, about half an hour's drive southeast of Hamburg, and is easily manageable for half a day. Shopping can be combined with a short walk across the fields.
