Good to know

Bauspielplatz Tweeltenmoor is one of Hamburg's largest adventure playgrounds: around 4.5 hectares of grounds with a paddock, workshop area, romping room, and a permanent wooden house await children aged 6 to 14 in Langenhorn. Kids can really get stuck in here — building huts, making fires, water games, ball games, table tennis, table football, crafting, and music are part of everyday life, along with cooking, outings, and pony and donkey riding. The animal-assisted pedagogy with ponies, donkeys, chickens, and guinea pigs fosters responsibility and community. The educationally supervised program, run by the sponsoring association ISUF e.V., is free and open to all, with no registration needed. It's open Monday to Friday in the afternoon; the site is closed on weekends.
