Bauspielplatz Poßmoorwiese with kids

At the Possmoorwiese adventure playground, children aged six to 14 can build, romp, climb and explore on natural terrain. The on-site team offers a range of activities without planning out the day; the kids decide themselves whether and which offers to join. There's no admission fee, and children can come and go whenever they like.

The idea behind it: the space belongs to the children, who are meant to take playful ownership of their surroundings while learning to contribute and take responsibility. The typical age for regular visits is elementary-school years, though many stay connected as teenagers too.

The Baui is located on Possmoorweg at the corner of Barmbeker Straße and is within walking distance for families from Winterhude, Barmbek and Uhlenhorst. Parents who are new to the neighborhood are welcome to stop by with their children; the team is happy to explain how the daily routine works and what's on offer.
