At the Eppendorf adventure playground, known to the kids as the Baui, children can work in the pottery workshop (also open to preschoolers together with their parents), play together on computers and game consoles in a group on other afternoons, or freely use the workshop area, building plots and romping spaces. There are quiet retreats for calmer moments and a fixed weekly program.

The mix of hands-on, creative and digital offers is deliberate. It gives children with different interests a way in, and older siblings don't have to pick just one format. The Baui is established as a reliable afternoon spot; many children come back regularly for years, and some later become volunteers themselves.

No registration is generally needed for the open drop-in program; for individual groups, a quick word with the team may be useful.
