Aktion Kinderparadies — Kipps Weg with kids

At Aktion Kinderparadies on Kipps Weg, children between one and six can climb, slide, make mud pies, build sandcastles and play hide-and-seek. Trained staff are on site, and seasonal rituals such as lantern processions, Easter bonfires or summer festivals take place throughout the year.

In rain or cold, everyone gathers in the heatable playhouse for breakfast, singing, crafts or reading. For families, the playground is above all a low-barrier meeting point in the neighborhood — children make their first friendships, and parents get to know the community. Participation generally requires no advance registration.

Poppenbüttel is located in northeastern Hamburg and is well served by the S1 line. The playground sits nestled between housing and green space, convenient for families from Wellingsbüttel, Sasel and Poppenbüttel.
