What it's about
Every Friday, a farmers' market with up to 16 stalls takes place at Alsterdorfer Marktplatz. The offerings range from healthy organic farm products to fish and sausage specialties and all kinds of tropical fruit.
The market has a village feel and, in its relaxed atmosphere, becomes a cozy meeting place for locals and visitors. Thanks to its manageable size, it's easy to visit with kids.
Around the market square there are also shops for everyday needs, doctors' offices and service providers, so you can combine your market visit with other errands in the neighborhood.
