What it's about
Johanna is eleven and very excited because her grandfather Kito from Tanzania is coming to visit. The next day, the two visit the Ethnological Museum, where Johanna shows him a mask that Kito firmly believes was taken from his country during the German occupation at the beginning of the 20th century.
When the mask has vanished the next morning, everything is turned upside down, as Kito comes under suspicion. Johanna sets out to find the truth. The film combines an exciting story with the topic of looted art and encourages talking with children about history and justice.
