Stormy Times: Climate in Change

At Natureum Niederelbe, the focus is on weather extremes: great heat with long dry spells, then storms, heavy rain and floods again. They are becoming more noticeable and more frequent, and rising sea levels challenge the dikes.

Simple experiments explore the causes of this development. Together, ideas are developed for how each person can do something for climate protection in everyday life.

The event suits families with curious, experiment-loving kids who want to understand why the weather is changing and try things out themselves. The Natureum is in Balje on the Lower Elbe.
