Ice Skating in Planten un Blomen

In the middle of Planten un Blomen park, you can glide around one of Europe's largest open-air ice rinks. With 4,300 square meters, there's plenty of room for experienced skaters as well as anyone lacing up skates for the first time.

You can rent skates on site, and skating aids are available to help beginners get started on the ice. Tickets are available online or at the box office, so you can just drop by. An ice bistro with crêpes and fries is there to warm you up.

Good to know: on Tuesdays outside Hamburg school holidays, the rink closes at 8 pm. The rink is located in Planten un Blomen, and a stroll through the park pairs nicely with your visit.
