What it's about

With small interlocking bricks, images take shape the way they do on a computer, brick by brick and pixel by pixel. Participants discover how digital images are made of individual dots and where pixels show up in everyday life. Then they transfer their designs to paper using linocut printing and take the prints home.

It's an open session; you can join and leave at any time. Since acrylic paint is used, wear old clothes. Deichtorhallen Hamburg offers it for primary school and secondary school students on October 18 at 11:00 a.m. and October 25, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. Registration is via the link provided with the listing.

This workshop is part of Code Week Hamburg, which is run by the Körber-Stiftung and the Bücherhallen Hamburg libraries and brings together many hands-on programming and tinkering activities in October.

And tomorrow? It's in the app.

The weekend and the holidays, too. Two weeks free.
