What it's about
Billy is a little troll who lives with his family inside a mountain on an island, in a cave. The troll elders drill it into everyone never to go outside, because humans live there, and they dislike trolls and are dangerous. But Billy is simply too curious. When the chance comes, he leaves the cave, stands in the sunlight and loves it. Whether everything outside stays so lovely, the film will show.
The story is about curiosity, courage and whether old warnings are always true. It suits kids who like adventure and fantasy stories, and makes a good movie outing for the whole family.
The Abaton is an arthouse cinema at Allende-Platz that shows children's films alongside arthouse features.
And tomorrow? It's in the app.
