Ice Skating in Planten un Blomen

In the middle of Planten un Blomen park, you can skate laps on one of Europe's largest open-air ice rinks. With 4,300 square meters, there's plenty of room for experienced skaters and first-timers alike.

You can rent skates on site, and learning aids are available to help beginners get started on the ice. Tickets are available online or at the box office, so you can simply drop by. An ice bistro with crêpes and fries is there to warm you up.

Good to know: on Tuesdays outside Hamburg school holidays, the rink closes at 8 pm. The rink is in Planten un Blomen park, and a stroll through the gardens pairs nicely with a visit.
