What it's about
Today's workshop is all about bronze: kids hear fascinating stories about ring jewelry, ring money, and early metalworking. Then it's time to get hands-on — bending shiny rings, amulets, or bracelets out of copper wire to take home.
The workshop is aimed at children aged 8 and up and combines hands-on crafting with a glimpse into life thousands of years ago. Perfect for kids who love working with their hands and are curious about history.
The Archaeological Museum Hamburg's permanent exhibition covers the prehistory and early history of northern Germany, and its workshops focus on making history tangible for kids, not just something to read about.
And tomorrow? It's in the app.
The weekend and the holidays, too. Two weeks free.
