Not far from the futuristically designed Hammerbrook S-Bahn station, the weekly market on Schwabenplatz with its colorful stalls is a welcome change among the office towers of City-Süd. It is open Mondays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The market is a good short outing with kids to an otherwise rather unremarkable corner of Hamburg, with views of modern architecture right next to the market stalls.
The market is on Schwabenplatz in Hammerbrook, right at Hammerbrook S-Bahn station (S3, S5) and bus lines 112 and 12.
