What it's about
The Lokschuppen Aumühle opens for its open day. Except on special event days, entry is free, and the volunteer-run museum welcomes donations.
Usually a staff member is on hand to offer rides on the handcar. Short rides on a hand-pushed field railway wagon are often possible too, a special experience for kids, and on some days field railway trains run. These offerings depend on available staff and are not guaranteed.
The exhibition on transport history themes is open, changing videos are shown, and all the vehicles can be looked at, some even from the inside.
