Ice Skating in Planten un Blomen

In the middle of Planten un Blomen park, you can glide around one of Europe's largest open-air ice rinks. With 4,300 square meters, there's plenty of room for experienced skaters and for anyone putting on skates for the first time.

You can rent skates on site, and skating aids are available to make getting started on the ice easier for beginners. Tickets are available online or at the box office, so you can simply drop by. An ice bistro with crêpes and fries is there to warm you up.

Good to know: on Tuesdays outside Hamburg school holidays, the rink closes at 8 pm. The rink is in Planten un Blomen park, and a stroll through the grounds pairs nicely with your visit.
