What it's about
Who actually lives on the campus? In the picture book workshop, children aged 8 to 12 invent their own characters for the LIFE HAMBURG Campus: funny, brave, wacky or very quiet characters.
Together with Hamburg illustrator Mirko Röper, the characters are drawn, developed further and finally become part of a big shared busy-scene picture. Bit by bit, a colorful campus world full of small stories, encounters and surprises takes shape.
In the end, every child finds their own character in the big picture. No supervision is provided during the workshop; it remains the responsibility of the guardians.
