This year's special exhibition at the Feuerwehrmuseum Schleswig-Holstein (Schleswig-Holstein Fire Museum) gives a vivid overview of innovative drone technology, from the basics to innovative visions of the future. Different types of drones and their various uses are presented. The technology used in drones, such as sensors, cameras and autonomous flight functions, is explained in an easy-to-understand way. There are also practical tips: what do I need to consider before launching a drone? Which rules apply in Norderstedt? What is a drone licence? Impressive aerial photographs show Hamburg and its surroundings from a whole new perspective. Practical examples such as fawn rescue and fire brigade drone operations make the benefits tangible. Military applications and protective measures are also covered. A look into the future shows that delivery drones, flying taxis and drone swarms are no longer just a vision. As a special highlight, there are regular flight demonstrations on Sundays from 2:00 to 5:00 pm. Flying yourself under supervision is possible from age 6 on 20 September and 18 October 2026 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm (see flight schedule as PDF). From 16 to 18
