Find out on a city tour where Hamburg's water comes from.
Go to the source ↗About the place
Water has shaped Hamburg since the city was founded. The Elbe, the Alster and the canals with their bridges and locks define the cityscape. On this fun, splashy tour you'll look for answers together: Where does the water come from, where does it go, what lives in it and how clean is it? The history of Hamburg's fountains is covered too.
The tour lasts about two and a half hours, is in German and is suitable for adults and children aged 6 and up. The meeting point is at 4 pm in front of Hamburg City Hall, main entrance.
Stadterlebnis Hamburg offers several themed walking tours of the Hanseatic city that bring the city closer to families on foot.
